Dolphins in Depth Tour

Dolphins in Depth is a 3-hour tour at The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion inside Epcot where guests can learn about, and get up close with, Disney’s dolphins.

Dolphins are some of the smartest, most playful and most majestic animals in the ocean. The Dolphins in Depth program is your opportunity to learn more about these fascinating creatures and their unique undersea behavior. Talk to the expert trainers and researchers who work with dolphins every day. The tour concludes with a very special opportunity for an up-close interaction with a dolphin—perfect for pictures and memories that will last forever.

If you want an opportunity to swim with the 6,000 inhabitants representing over 60 aquatic species inside the 5.7 million gallon saltwater Caribbean Coral Reef aquarium, please consider the Epcot DiveQuest program or the Seas Aqua Tour.

Sample Tour Content:

• Learn about dolphins & the research being done at Epcot
• Experience interaction with a dolphin (about 30 minutes of the tour)*

*It is important to remember that dolphins are highly intelligent animals and they choose if they wish to participate in the research sessions as well as the interactions with guests.  Dolphin interaction is not guaranteed.

Wheelchair Accessible: Inquire with Disney.  Disney’s website does not indicate this tour is accessible, but at least one of the reviewers mentioned being in a wheelchair on the tour.

Requirements:

• Guests must be 13+
• Guests under the age of 18 years must have a parent or guardian along with them on the tour

Photography Restrictions: No photography is permitted during the tour.  Disney will give you a copy of a photo from your dolphin interaction.

Bag Storage: Guests are provided a locker for all their clothes, jewelry, hair ties, etc.  Only a bathing suit & wet suit can be worn during the dolphin interaction.

Additional Notes:

• This is an indoor tour that runs in any weather as long as Epcot is open.
• If you want to enter the water to interact with the dolphins, bring a bathing suit. You do not need to know how to swim or be SCUBA-certified to enjoy this program.
• Wetsuits are available in sizes XS-5X.
• Showers are available with soap & shampoo, if you want to wash off the salt water.
• If you want to snorkel in the aquarium (but not with the dolphins), you may be interested in the Epcot Seas Aqua Tour.
• If you are SCUBA-certified and would like to dive in the aquarium (but not with the dolphins), you may want to check out the Epcot DiveQuest tour.
